I'm always so encouraged when there is a good turn out, and we had 14 of us there making my craft room VERY full!
I don't take a lot of pictures because I am living in the moment, enjoying the time with my team, but we had a wonderful spread of yummy foods for our potluck and a fun gift exchange.
The gift I received was a lovely collection of buffalo check ornament & a Michigan magnet, plus some lip exfoliate and lip balm.
Carla made a treat to share with everyone - love the colorful candy canes - so thoughtful, Carla!
We played a fun game of BINGO and the ladies went home with a ton of Stampin' Up! product as well as some goodies from Dale's soaps and candles.
At our November Team Meeting I issued them to a challenge using the empty toilet paper holders that we get in bulk from my hubbies job at our church. They are about 1/3 the size of a normal size and they are a bit more sturdy.
Here are the creative ideas that everyone came up with:
Lynda made these darling reindeer.Anna made an ornament for her tree. She colored her Whisper White twine with Poppy Parade and wrapped it all up. The picture really doesn't do it justice. - very cute!
Janell is using hers for her Christmas table settings - So elegant with the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper.
Linda made these darling Easter egg holders. I love the punch art!
Carla stacked 2 of them together and made a cute top hat candy holder.
This is what I made originally to give them an idea of what they could make. It is filled with candies, and is two of the TP holds taped together.
Linda and I had a similar idea for Easter. I had this cute little Easter bunny in my stash so wanted to put it to use on this challenge
And my last idea - I stacked 3 of them together and made a holder for the napkin and silverware for a holiday table setting.
I received some thoughtful gifts last night as well...
Some yummy mug cakes, a beautiful festive kitchen towel, a gift card and Debbie crochets these darling jar toppers. I love the hand made touch! Thank you Debbie!Barb shared a yummy bag of Christmas nibble mix. Crazy that we don't make this during the rest of the year and it is always a favorite. Love the hand stamped tag! Thanks Barb!
This gift is Coffee and Cream - with the cream being some Mary Kay Satin Hands lotion. Cute & clever idea! - Thanks Bonnie!
