Christi's Creative Crew: I Miss Your Face!

This one is kind of funny!

When this newest release of FREE stamp sets came out for Sale a bration I thought "who would want a stamp that says 'I miss your face?'"
THEN...all this virus stuff started happening and everyone everywhere is missing being with their people.
Classes are canceled, schools are canceled, churches are canceled (but thank goodness for live-streaming).
We are all in this together, but I just wanted to let all of you know "I MISS YOUR FACE!!"

The stamp set is called TAGS IN BLOOM

You can stamp the inside of the flower with 2-step stamping OR you can use your Stampin' Blends like I did.

I was inspired by two different demonstrators who had very similar cards, Patty Bennett and Cindee Wilkenson

I wanted to change mine up just a smidge so I added another layer on the front of my card:

Card #1 I added a piece of Whisper White 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" and the SO VERY VELLUM Designer Vellum (also FREE during SAB with a qualifying order) is cut at 5" x 3-3/4"

Card #2 instead of Whisper White, I added a layer of Pool Party. an you see the difference? The one with the Pool Part behind it is much deeper and richer.

I popped up this double layer with Stampin' Dimensionals

Another change that I made is with the scalloped rectangle from STITCHED SO SWEETLY - I ran it through the Big Shot with the SUBTLE Embossing Folder.

This layer is attached using Multipurpose Liquid glue.

The next change I made was to stamp the image on scrap Whisper White, cut it out, color it with Stampin' Blends, and attach with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

COLORS: Bermuda Bay Combo, Soft Sea Foam Dark, So Saffron Dark.

The top piece is stamped onto a scrap piece of Whisper White and punched out using the LABEL ME LOVELY punch. The Sympathy Sentiment is from PEACEFUL MOMENTS and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Such a great set for sentiments!, and I love the fonts.

An extra flower was fussy cut and colored and added to the bottom bouquet.

Okay - look back at the stamp set - you can see it only has flowers on the top, so I inked it up a second time trying to get just the flowers, and then because it is a photopolymer stamp, it is super easy to line up.

Card #3 I stamped the image directly onto the stitched rectangle, and then did not emboss it.
