Fine Art Gallery Part 2

Monday, February 22, 2021

Today's first card I used just the Art Gallery stamp set. My colors are Pool Party, and Basic White with the ink colors for the flower in So Saffron and Mossy Meadow.
I used the brand new Blending Brushes (#153611) to blend some Pool Party Ink around the edges of my embossed 4" x 5-1/4" layer. By doing this it sets the layer apart giving it more dimension.
The Die Cut that I used is the Many Medallions Dies (#153584) I could get 2 cards from one die cut. You may notice that I needed to trim some of the edges to make them uniform.
A few Elegant Faceted Gems (#152464) give it a finished look. (these are one of my favorite embellishments). They come in Clear, Petal Pink, Pearlescent White. I used the Petal Pink - I think they look more like a champagne color.
Card #2 I featured the Fine Art Designer Series Paper. and I CASED this card from Karen K
The image that is behind the sentiment IS from the Art Gallery Stamp Set stamped off with Pool Party ink. I also used this stamp for the little banner on the front of the card.
What I changed up: The sentiment. I used the sentiments inside and out from Woven Heirlooms.
I also used the Elegant Faceted Gems on the front of this card.
Colors: Pretty Peacock and Pool Party
Another card using this same print. I had one piece of Designer Paper left that was large enough for a card front and an envelope flap. I had a bunch of pre-stamped flowers on my work station so this went together super fast.
And then with the 1-1/4" left over strips I made several of these cards inspired by Nellie
The flowers are stamped with So Saffron and Bumblebee with a Merry Merlot center.

Card #5 - I was inspired by Ann Alexander
I thought this card was very elegant with the Pretty Peacock card stock with the flowers stamped with Pool Party and Pretty Peacock. The Pool Party Sheer Ribbon gives the card a soft look (#152462).
What I changed up: Ann used the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate (#154557) on her Basic White card base, but wanted to keep the card cost-effective so all I did was randomly stamp the butterflies from Floating & Fluttering with Sahara Sand ink.
The Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638) are cut from the Sahara Sand Foil which is a part of the Love You Always Foil Sheets Pack (#154286), but it is very close to the Champagne Foil (#144748) so either will work.
The Vellum (#101856) foliage die cuts come from the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714)
The Pretty Peacock front piece measures 5" x 3-3/4" and is embossed with the Greenery Embossing Folder which comes in a 2 pack - each one measuring 6-1/4" x 3-3/8"
