Christi's Creative Crew: Tasteful Touches in Black & White

Today I will share a beautiful card that the ladies made at the Tuesday class this week.

I super-love this card and the whole Black & White theme. It was cased from Tammy Wilson one of the demonstrators on the Artisan team.

You know that I have been featuring items that are on the LAST CHANCE LIST so that you will have a chance to grab these before they are gone.

Lets start with the items that ARE on the LAST CHANCE LIST

1) True Love Designer Paper - a whole pack of 12 x 12 patterned papers devoted to black & white designs.

2) Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing folder

3) Subtle 3D Embossing Folder - RIGHT?? yes, I was surprised too. It's my go-to embossing folder. I used this embossing folder after I stamped the sprig image

That's it!

Let's clarify a few things:

1) White Twine: Right now there is a combo pack of twine (SNAIL MAIL TWINE COMBO PACK) #154579 $7.00 with white and blushing bride (15 yards in each roll) BUT after June 30 that will be unavailable, but starting May 5th there will be a new BAKER’S TWINE ESSENTIALS PACK • 155475 | $11.00 which has 5 spools of twine... Crumb Cake and white, 10 yards (9.1 m) each; black, Gray Granite, and Very Vanilla, 5 yards (4.6 m) each.

So, you see, you will still be able to purchase white twine.

2) The white embossing powder - right now you can purchase a 1/2 oz. container of white embossing powder for $6.00. When the new catalog goes live on May 5 you will be able to purchase a combo pack of embossing powders in Black, White & Clear for $18.00. Each container is 1/2 oz. There will also be a metallic combo pack of embossing powders available in copper, gold & silver. I guess what I am saying is if you want to get individual colors - get them now!

3) I used a couple older products that are no longer available - the Black Thread that I added along with the white twine, and the edging/distressing tool, but this technique is easily duplicated by using your fingernail.

I curled up the edge with a bone folder
