Christi's Creative Crew: Build a Gnome

At our last team meeting we had a team SWAP from the July to December Mini Catalog

The card that I chose to make was inspired by Bree Wrenwick

I've been kind of crazy about these cute gnomes

Here's the scoop:

Thick Basic White cut at 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2" (item #159229)

Storybook Gnomes Designer Paper 5-1/2" x 4" (item #159615)

Wonderful Snowflakes (item #156340)

Cut our a Layering Circle Die #7 (item #141705) from Vellum Card Stock (item #101856)

Colors: Bermuda Bay (hat), Soft Suede (shoes), Basic White (beard), Petal Pink (nose)

Emboss the Bermuda Bay hat with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder (item #156505)

Heat emboss the "WARM WISHES" onto Bermuda Bay card stock with Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder.

So that the adhesive doesn't show through the vellum I popped up the gnome with 3 dimensionals (#104430) onto the vellum circle and then I added liquid glue to the area behind the gnome and adhered it to the card front

I added a mini dimensional to the one side of the sentiment and a glue dot to the other to adhere that to the front. I fussy cut out the tree from the designer paper and then I popped up with mini dimensionals

I love how that in the stamp set you can stamp a gnome and color it in, you can cut a gnome from the designer paper, or you can build a gnome with the dies like on this card.
