Happy Valentine's Day!

I am taking a break from walking through the mini catalog to share the Valentine Card that I made for my dad this year.

My dad has the nickname "Jitter" which was somehow based on a newspaper cartoon about a monkey named Jitter. I guess some 8th grade girls gave him that nickname and it stuck. I personally, love it! It's unique and fun. My mom loved it!, and she liked to have stuffed monkeys around the house. Ironically they were all called "Jitter"! He is doing so well at 95-1/2 years old. We are so thankful to still have him here with us.

I chose to use these cute little playful monkeys from CATCH YOU LATER on his card and then I used the Conversation Bubbles

I used the Design a Daydream 12x12 Host exclusive paper pack from the Annual Catalog.

Valentine's Day is also my hubbies birthday and it is so cool that we are on vacation for his birthday. He REALLY needs some time away from the normal busy routine at church and his soap business. He is counting down the months until he retires next year - so 19 months to go.

Some of you have asked how he is doing with his INSPIRE IMPLANT. He had the surgery to get the unit implanted, and then he had to wait until February 3 to get it programed. It will be a process where they will increase the strength gradually to reach the optimum benefit so we still need to be patient, but he was super excited to return his CPAP that we were renting. No more mask on his face. Our prayer is that he would be able to sleep better, and get more hours of sleep and therefore be able to function better during the day (and not fall asleep while he drives)

There is absolutely no penalty if you want to drop. You can always rejoin.
