It has been a very long time since I had a Sentimental Sunday post
Thought I would give you an update on our grandson Sawyer. (you may remember the fund raiser that we held several years ago to help with his care)
This is what our son, Sawyer's daddy, said:
Sawyer received his new XP hat! Through an acquaintance we found a lady who made a custom hat out of the goodness of her heart. The pictures below show Sawyer's hat journey. The first one was the one we made ourselves. The second one was made by my Aunt Judy and served him well. His new one is in the last photo and should be less cumbersome for him and allow him to play outdoors without it bouncing around or worrying about it falling off. We are so pleased with it!
Sawyer takes it all in stride that he has to wear all his gear whenever he goes outside. Even when his two sisters and one brother don't need to.
He is one in a million, that's for sure!
