Christi's Creative Crew: Mid-Winter Retreat

We scheduled a one day stamping retreat for January, but then the winter storm (the only one we've had this winter) hit us big time and we had to reschedule for February.

In many ways it was very frustrating, shifting gears, trying to help those who could not come to the new date to find a replacement - and so on...

A bright side is that some ladies were able to come in February, that weren't able to attend in January

Another bright spot is that we still had an amazing group of ladies that were able to still join in the fun. A couple had to bow out the day of, but my head count was still at 51. We had a 60 member limit which was totally full for January, so only 9 spaces not filled is totally amazing!!

I am very thankful for my two top sellers on my team who join me in the planning

We each planned and prepped 2 cards, trying to evenly feature product from the Annual Catalog, the January to April Mini Catalog and the Sale a bration Catalog.

We chose to give every attender a pack of the INKED BOTANICALS 6x6 designer paper so you will see that paper scattered between a few of our projects. They also received everything else that they needed to complete their projects...Stampin' Dimensionals, Tear 'n Tape & Brass Butterflies.

Each attender was also given a note pad and pen, so another one of their projects were to cover their plan Kraft color notebook with their designer paper.

We each covered a couple notebooks for an example. These are the two that I covered

were some of the favorites as I watched the stampers create on Saturday.

No one went away hungry, with a variety of 4 soups, fresh baked bread, veggies and dip & dessert

Sue did a great job manning the registration table and keeping track of the purchases made from the retired product table. Inez did a great job fielding questions and assisting where needed at the tables. I acted as MC. Thankful for my hubby who set up a sound system and a hands free headset microphone so that everyone could hear us.
