Christi's Creative Crew: Latte Love

Did you get your copy of LATTE LOVE Stamp Set? It has been on the last chance list, and I just checked band they are all gone. I sure hope you got your copy! It was/is the perfect set for all you coffee lovers (and/or hot cocoa lovers)

I cased this card from one I saw on Instagram.

I changed up the designer paper choosing to use the HALLOWEEN TREATS for the Pool Party diagonal design (cut at 2" wide) and a 1" strip of the A LITTLE LATTE designer paper.

I sponged the background with light shades of Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight with coffee rings stamped in Pecan Pie.

The original card designer was from one of our other countries that Stampin' Up! has - I believe it was German, but since I don't read other languages, it's just a guess. I chose to change up the sentiment and used BEST FMILY EVER because it is a photopolymer stamp, therefore I can manipulate the stamp onto my clear block to give it a curve.

I stamped the cups in Early Espresso and then stamped the coffee (or hot chocolate - because I don't drink coffee) in Pecan Pie.

The little groups of coffee beans are stamped with Early Espresso onto Pecan Pie card stock

The front piece of Bssic White is 5-1/4", ripped the one edge, then measured it at 3" to cut it to size. This worked the best for me.

I used my bone folder to distress the top corner, and when you do this several times it causes the paper to separate giving it a distressed look, but I also used a distress tool for some extra rough look.
