HER LAST DAYS!

Friday was NATIONAL PET DAY, and it sure made me think about how we miss our sweet Katy Pup.

Yesterday I spent some time on my scrapbooking and wanted to spend my time remembering this sweet soul. We miss her terribly!

I thought that I would share my pages with you.

Our sick little girl - she just kept getting weaker and weaker.

Tori would spend time with her at the beginning, but towards the end, neither Tori nor Lucy would go near her. She had quite a smell about her because of her kidneys not working.

Katy spent 3 days in the Animal hospital and then 3 weeks later she passed away in my arms.

The left page shows her at the hospital and how we gave her fluids and medication when she came home.

The right page shows some of her "lasts" - she made it out to the deck one last time and she just gazed to the neighbors yard. She used to love to run the fence with Dexter the black lab and she was a pro at chasing squirrels.

Sitting on the back of the couch was one of her very favorite places to be. She loved to see everyone walking by.

Spending some time with her "dad", and the last photo was her last walk. She made it down two driveways, but had to be carried back.

This page shows all of the sweet friends who came to say their final good-byes. Friends, neighbors, and then our sweet little grands colored pictures for Katy. They, too, were very sad when Katy passed. One day before Katy passed we imprinted her little paw in some "cement" and added some pretty glass pieces.

Some of these pages feature the FLIP FLAP clear envelopes from Stampin' Up! so that you can layer your photos. I absolutely love this feature.

And look who was my side kick the whole time that I was scrapbooking - lovely Lucy!!

When I was away in North Carolina for the OnStage event, Dale prepared Katy's grave site.
Katy now rest next to two of Tori's puppies. Raspberry and Sweet Pea
We are praying that Tori will not lose another puppy in this next litter (due in two weeks)

Last time she looked and looked for a full week trying to find that lost puppy - it was so sad.

We are really ready for the pitter patter of little puppy feet around our house. Here is a photo of some of Lucy's puppies that one of our families shared with me.

Aren't they just the cutest!! Such chubby little fluffs!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a blessed Sunday!
