I loved this idea using the BEAUTIFUL MOTIFS DIES and the BEAUTIFUL GALLERY DESIGNER PAPER.
You can get 2 focal points 2" x 3-1/2" from one sheet of the 6x6 but each one will look slightly different.
Inspired by Rose Coleman she used the BEAUTIFUL MOTIFS DIE that only cuts out a portion of the die so that you can tuck your image underneath. Clever, right??
I actually saw Rose on FB - you know how you see "REELS" on your Facebook page. She never says a word and doesn't give instructions, you just watch as she assembles it. I took a screen shot and had to go on that. I searched out her blog (click on the link above) but I didn't find this card on her blog.
I added an adhesive backed TEXTURED DOT to the banner which was cut from Basic Beige using Mossy Meadow Ink and the STYLISH SHAPES smallest banner die. I think Rose used the MUTED PALETTE DOTS that come in 4 colors - one of which is Mossy Meadow, but I don't have those (yet).
I have added a Bible verse on the inside for our FAITH BASED CLASS on July 19th. If you want to join us for this class you can RSVP to me HERE.
DETAILS: 6 Faith Based Cards
COST: $12 or FREE with a $25 purchase
TIME: 9:00am through whenever you get your projects completed. Everyone works at a different pace. Feel free to bring along a snack or a lunch.
WHERE: 3299 Oak St., Hudsonville, MI 49426
Inside of our featured card: The Reason the Basic Beige piece on the inside is smaller than normal is because when I cut the DSP I had a 3-1/4" strip left over so I cut it down to 3-1/4 x 4-1/2 and the strip down to 3/4" x 3-1/4. I could have backed this piece with some Mossy Meadow, but I had it adhered with glue before I thought of it. Keep it simple - right??
I had zero waste because I used the 2-1/2" piece that I cut off the DSP for the envelope. The downside is that you get two cards, but only one envelope flap. I used my retired Very Vanilla envelopes for my stampers because I feel it coordinated better. Maybe they should come out with Basic Beige envelopes or bring back the Very Vanilla ones. What do you think?
