I also needed a couple retirement cards and my friend, Janell, agreed to make them up for me.

She was actually making this first one for her upcoming class, and it was perfect for my friend, Carla, who recently retired from her job (of 40+ years). To say that she was SO VERY READY to retire is putting it mildly.  She and her hubby enjoy weekends at the campers park where they have a seasonal.

Isn't this just the cutest thing!! 

Janelle used the ADVENTURE TOGETHER stamp set and dies. This bundle was one of the items that we could get during Sale a Bration (Jan-Feb 2025) and Stampin' Up! recently put some of the SAB items on the LAST CHANCE LIST at a discount. As of writing this blog post, both the stamp set and the dies are still available. Janelle also used the TIMELESS PLAID 6x6 DSP. Carla absolutely loved it!!

The second Retirement card that I needed was for one of the gals in our small group at church. She has worked for KENYA HOPE - this is who my hubby went to Kenya with last year.

She is hoping to have more time with her grandkids during her retirement.
