Extraordinary Flora

Today I am sharing the EXTRAORDINARY FLORA WASHI TAPE

How much is on this roll? Well, this roll is 3-1/4" wide by 10 yards. But how much to do actually get from it? Last week I was preparing cards for my Tuesday Classes and for an upcoming Winter Retreat. This roll has a Strawberry Slush section and then a Petunia Pop section. You get approximately 33 sections of each color.
Purchase the coordinating die, and it cuts out all of the floral images.
Another option is purchasing the Bundle which includes this stamp set and the die.
Using the stamp, you can stamp the image, cut them out and then color them any way you like.
I love the versatility of this set, and the Washi Tape is so pretty
I laid strips onto Basic White card stock, then cut the flora out to create this first card.
The Blackberry Bliss DSP strips are 15/16" wide and are from the Thoughtful Journey 6x6 pack. It was fun putting the spray of flowers and leaves in place. It was inspired by Becca Whitham.

I changed up the sentiment and chose to use the Happy Birthday from Year Of Flowers, and I cut it out with a Textured Notes Die. The strips of DSP are layered onto a larger Textured Notes Die. I wanted to add a little color to the inside so made a layer of Blackberry Bliss and Basic White, then added some elements left over from cutting out the Washi Tape.

I am not sure what embellishments that Becca used because I only had a picture to go by, but I dug through my retired stuff and found some In Color Pebbled Path Dots that I thought looked good on it. I guess you could use. whatever you have on hand.

I also wanted to show that you do not need to cut out all of the pieces every time for your card so I made this next card inspired by Lisa Freeman.

I also did not have a blog post to follow so I figured out the dimensions that worked best for me. The DSP comes from Florals in Bloom 12x12 pack and is 5" x 1". After trimming down the strip of Washi Tape I added it to some Strawberry Slush card stock 4" x 5-1/4" then added the 1" strip of DSP. All this was added to a Thick White base. I changed up the sentiment, using the Happy Birthday from Unbounded Love, and cut it out with a Textured Notes Die. Then I added a layer of Strawberry Slush 1-1/2" x 3" and popped it up with dimensionals. Three 2025-2027 In Color Pearls in Strawberry Slush color finished it off.

You may remember some other cards that I shared on previous posts using the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, but they are so gorgeous they are worth repeating.

These first 7 cards were made by girls on my team.

And this one I made for a Tuesday class and shows how you can use the full sheet as a background. The HEY was die cut with the Party Alphabet Dies, and the "lovely" comes from Sweet Blooms.

Right now, the Extraordinary Flora Die is unavailable, but a new feature that Stampin' Up! has is that you can sign up to be notified when it comes back in stock. According to our inventory status they are expecting more to come the week of October 27th.

FOR EVERY ORDER PLACED IN OCTOBER, I WILL PUT YOUR NAME INTO A DRAWING AND THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE THE ENCIRCLED WITH LOVE & THE 1-7/8" CIRCLE PUNCH
