Today's card features the beautiful dies from ARTISTICALLY INKED

This is a very detailed die so I use the dryer sheet trick by rubbing the die with an unscented dryer sheet purchased from a dollar store. This helps intricate dies to cut more cleanly. I find that not all dies are created equal. what I mean by that is that maybe it is the way that your cutting machine is as far as the tightness, but there are tricks other than the dryer sheet trick. If you find your die not cutting out cleanly you can run it through twice, or if your die is a square or a rectangle - consider running it through on an angle, for whatever reason, that really helps too.

This card was inspired by Angela Reid

Right now Stampin' Up! does not have a corner rounder punch, but I pulled out my TRIO punch to round the corners of my Petal Pink 3-3/4" x 5" card stock, then ran it through the emboss machine with the HIVE embossing folder.

How to attach these intricate elements? I used a fine tip applicator with glue and added small dabs in the center area . I did not add glue all over because I wanted it to "flow"

I chose to add Happy Birthday (vs the Thanks that Angela had on her card) because I know my ladies who come to stamp do not generally make too many thank you cards - however - I have the "Thanks" on hand if that's what they want. It is heat embossed with white onto Crumb Cake card stock.

A bow made with Linen Thread add just that added touch and then I added a few Basic Rhinestones.
