Christi's Creative Crew: Team Swap Cards

Last night was our October Team Meeting, and we had a New Mini Catalog Swap. The rules are to use product from the new mini catalog.

I chose to use LIGHT THE SKY BUNDLE and make a Happy New Year card. I started with the card front, and it seems like this die needs a full 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece. I cut out the "firework" and then stamped in a variety of colors and sizes of fire "bursts" including Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Tahitian Tide, Berry Burst.

I couldn't decide on the color for my "happy new year", but after several tries I landed on heat embossing it with gold and fussy cutting it out.

I placed it on a piece of MORE DAZZLE 6x6 Specialty Paper

I knew that I couldn't just a have a "flat" card so I dug into my box of layouts and come up with this...

I see that the NIGHT DIVINE was the biggest hit because not only did we get two of these in our swaps, two others made the same card as Chris for their shares (I will post the shares on my blog throughout next week)
