Christi's Creative Crew: Night Divine

I asked the ladies who come to stamp "how many more weeks do you want me to feature Christmas cards?"

It was unanimous! Keep making Christmas card right up until the last stamping day before Christmas

This card was inspired by Buffy Cooper

Instructions:

I used a modified gatefold idea for the card base. I scored a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Night of Navy card base at 2-3/4″ and 7″. I cut 2-1/2″ x 4″, 1-1/4″ x 5-1/4″, and 4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces of Very Vanilla Card stock and a 1″ x 5″ strip from the same design but different background colors of the Shining Brightly Designer Series Paper (DSP; one from the Night of Navy and one from Vanilla).

I layered the 1″ x 5″piece of DSP to the 1-1/4″ wide Very Vanilla and glued them to the right flap. I glued the 2-1/2″ x 4″ piece of the left side. On a separate piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the star from the Stars at Night Stamp Set in Versamark, then embossed with Gold Powder. I cut it out with the coordinating Stars at Night Die and added it to the front left panel. Then I die-cut the nativity scene from the Night Divine Dies. I clipped the sheep and wise man (mostly because they wouldn’t fit) then added the holy family and shepherd to the bottom of the panel. I used circle punches to die-cut the Gold foil and Night of Navy circles. I stamped the sentiment and stars in Versamark then embossed in gold. After layering the two circles, I adhered them to the right panel. (Be sure you add glue only to half of the circles so you don’t glue the card shut!)

When I saw the STARS AT NIGHT and the NIGHT DIVINE in the August to December Mini I knew that I HAD to purchase them both.
