Sister's are the BEST! We are thankful to be here in nice, warm, Arizona visiting my sister and her husband for Christmas and New Years!
My sister appreciates the hand stamped cards that I make (even though she is not a card sender), but she asked me to bring to bring her some thank you cards.
I had been wanting to play with some of the new ONLINE EXCLUSIVE products that recently came out
I chose to use the OF ART & TEXTURE stamp set.
This is the card that I came up with (with a little inspiration from Pinterest)
Card Stock: Soft Seafoam, Basic White, Lost Lagoon
Ink: Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Soft Seafoam
Other: Gorgeously Made Dies, Lost Lagoon Ribbon, Linen Thread, Blending Brush
I started with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White and used the blending brush and some Pool Party ink to give it a background color. Then I stamped one of the designs with Soft Seafoam, The second stamp I used Lost Lagoon. I stamped some full strength and some second generation. The leaves from INKED & TILED were stamped with Lost Lagoon. Cut out the die from GORGEOUSLY MADE with Lost Lagoon and I embossed it with a retired folder. The small die for the sentiment is also from GORGEOUSLY MADE DIES. A bow made with Lost Lagoon Ribbon and then another bow made right around that first bow with Linen Thread.
The stampers who came to stamp on Tuesday liked this card so much that I had to prep this card for an upcoming class.
