We have been making Easter Cards since the beginning of March, but this card using the FAITH COLLECTION Bundle was one of my favorites so I made a bunch up to send out this year.

This card is considered a stained glass technique 

I pulled out one of my retired Easter sentiment stamps for the inside - some of these were just to perfect to totally retire from using them.

This card was inspired by Joan Heberlein at Joan's Simple Paper Crafts

Colors used:

Left column darkest to lightest: Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo, Highland Heather, Petunia Pop, Fresh Freesia

Middle column darkest to lightest: Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green, Old Olive Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist (some of these colors are hidden behind the cross)

Right column bottom to top: Baha Blue, Balmy Blue, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock

The cross is die cut from Night of Navy, the palm branches are stamped with Old Olive Ink onto basic White and die cut with the second largest Stylish Shapes Circle Die

The strips are 1" wide and mounted on a Basic White piece f card stock that measures 3-1/4" x5"

We learned about some changes that Stampin' Up! is making 

The challenge that I came away with for myself is to reach my $300,000 in sales by the end of September 

If I do I will get to walk the stage and be recognized for this accomplishment at the 2026 OnStage event in Long Beach, CA (not that I really like walking the stage, but it really is an accomplishment)

What does this mean for you, and why am I telling you this?

I will need to increase my sales each month and that is where you come in

I am asking you to place your orders with me, and in return I will offer you the listed price of all products. 

If you place your order (after April 15th) online you will start receiving a 10% reward on all orders $20 or more, that you can claim on your next order (this all starts April 15th) - therefore, I cannot offer the catalog price. BUT... if you order with me directly I am able to offer you this discount. (I have no control over the online orders) 

BUT... I will reward your order according to the amount you order with a product that I will ship to you. (an embellishment, ribbon, etc.) I cannot list what it will be because of the fact that items go on the unorderable list, etc.

More Memorable Blooms

Many times when I am crafting/stamping I will make more than one variety of card using the same stamp set/bundle, rather than putting everything away and getting something new out.

I love the brightness of the Cherry Cobbler Flowers on this card. I also used the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder which is in our online exclusive store, as well as the Gold Twisted Thread. It was inspired by Mary Deatheridge.

Good News: the Perennial Postage Die used for the sentiment is carried over to the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog!!

This next Memorable Blooms card was inspired by Amy Koenders

The colors are more muted, but the card is equally as beautiful

I love the ELEMENTS of TEXT behind the Vellum window. It really adds that little "something" to make your card stand out.

The oval die is from Greetings Of The Season which is on our Last Chance List. - Time to grab those dies before it's too late.

Sentimental Sunday

Our little Tori is going to be a mama again!

Tori is very possessive of her toys and her little Lamb Chop that she got for her birthday last year is her favorite (even if her sister, Lucy, chewed the squeaker out of the foot).

Tori can be somewhat of a challenge because her first two litters she delivered at 8 weeks instead of the normal 9 weeks that dogs gestate at, and she has lost one puppy from each litter. We sure hope that won't happen again this time around.

Litter #1 she had 3 puppies (2 surviving), Litter #2 she had 5 puppies (4 surviving)

We already have 7 people on the wait list and we KNOW that she won't have that many puppies. 

We are hoping to welcome this new batch of pups late April or early May.

It will be so good to have those sweet little pups running around and filling our home with fluffy fun - especially after losing our Katy on January 28th this year.

People ask if we will keep one of the puppies - ummmm - NO! I think we will keep it at two with Lucy (8 years old) and Tori (4 years old) for now.

Natures Sweetness Trifold Window Card

I like to say that I CASE (copy and share) the best and I saw Susan Campfield at the OnStage event in North Carolina. She received a ginormous recognition. Of course, I only saw her from a distance as she walked the stage. Sometimes it's like a celebrity sighting when you catch a glimpse of the demonstrators that you follow.

I loved this card she made using the NATURE'S SWEETNESS Specialty Paper.

It is called a Window Trifold Card

I chose to make my card an Anniversary card and used the LAYERS OF BEAUTY Stamp Set for that which is heat embossed with gold on the inside2

Everyone loves a fun fold and this one is just that. Now to try it with different DSP, etc.

Beautiful Butterflies

The cool part about the BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES Bundle is that you can make a shaped card with it.

My stampers love to add some scripture verses to their cards so I pulled out one from my stash

 

This is a full card on a card - they can add their own words of encouragement or Birthday greetings, etc. on the inside.

I used the TOADSTOOL DSP from SAB for a bright, beautiful, butterfly, but you can use any DSP that you have on hand. Some strips are 1/2" and a couple are 5/8" wide.

The PURPLE SEQUINS was also a free benefit from SAB.

How do you like that embossing folder? It is considered a HYBRID which means that you can emboss and cut at the same time. They are a little pricier, but the impact is a WOW!

Other Product used: STYLISH SHAPES Die set - I used the 2nd from the smallest circle die and MELON MAMBO INK.

The Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon was also a free benefit of SAB - It really does pay off to get these free items, even when you need to place an order to get it because you will want to place an order anyway - might just as well get something free! Sale A Bration is always January - February
