Christi's Creative Crew: The Best Thing About Easter

One of my favorite books to read to the kids at Easter season is called "The Best Thing About Easter"

I read it every year to my day care kids and now to my grand kids

It talks about all the fun aspects that surrounds how we celebrate Easter, like Easter egg hunts, chocolate bunnies and getting dressed up for church...

But the BEST thing about Easter...

JESUS!! of course!!

If you follow my blog posts you have noticed that I have made my share of cute bunny cards for Easter, but my customers (by far) prefer the faith based cards.

This card was pretty easy, inspired by Erin, was perfect for the last cards that I needed to make up (I send 80+ Easter cards each year between my team members, my Paper Pumpkin customers, my Card Club Members and the people at church - staff and widows & shut-ins)

It uses ENJOY THE JOURNEY Designer Paper that makes a great sunrise background and the die from GREATEST JOURNEY creates a great hill. The stamp set for the words and the dove is from REJOICE IN HIM, and the branch cut from Pear Pizzazz card stock is from the FOREVER FLOURISHING DIES.

The cross is cut from Crumb Cake Card Stock at 3/4". The vertical board is 3-3/4" long and the horizontal board is 2-3/4" long. I sealed them together then ran them through the emboss machine with a wood grain style embossing folder.

It's absolutely perfect and a super simple card.
